Steel Structure Inspection and Strengthening – Morvarid Petrochemical
The main goal of the Morvarid Petrochemical project is to enhance the safety of steel structures.
In the Morvarid Petrochemical project, the main objective was to enhance the structural safety of the facilities and increase the resilience of the structures against dynamic and static loads resulting from operational conditions. The project focused on identifying damages and reinforcing critical structural components to ensure stable and safe operation of the production lines.
- Enhancing the Safety of Petrochemical Structures Against Dynamic and Static Loads
- Enhancing the Stability and Durability of Critical Structural Components
- Optimizing Production Line Performance Without Halting Operations
Detailed Assessment and Structural Damage Analysis
The technical team of Dr. Ayagh Holding, utilizing advanced visual inspection methods and international standards, evaluated all structural components, including braces, beams, columns, and welded joints. Damages caused by corrosion, material fatigue, and localized deformations were documented, and a corrective action plan was developed accordingly.

Securing Connections Using Specialized Derrick Torque Method
One of the key actions in the project was the execution of derrick torque operations to precisely adjust and tighten bolts using specialized tools. This process prevented sudden loosening of critical connections and significantly enhanced the durability and integrity of the structures, all without requiring a halt in production lines.
Enhancing Safety and Longevity of Structures
The project results included a reduction in preventive maintenance costs, an increase in the service life of structures, and improved safety for personnel and contractors. By combining technical expertise, international standards, and advanced equipment, Dr. Ayagh Holding played a key role in ensuring continuous production and protecting human resources within the country’s petrochemical industry.
